The mission of the ACCC Ambassadors is to represent the Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce by working to support Chamber initiatives, programs, and membership community.

Expectations:

  • Be associated with a member business or organization in good standing with the chamber

  • Represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings/ground breaking ceremonies

  • Attend Ambassador meetings to remain informed of upcoming Chamber events and Ambassador programs and to share concerns and interests

  • Attend eight (6) Monthly luncheons per year. At monthly luncheons, Ambassadors will receive recognition

  • Assist in reaching out to Chamber Members throughout the year.

  • Attend 12 Coffee Connections Events per year

  • Take “ownership” of your assigned tasks and responsibilities

  • Be familiar with the Chamber programs, benefits, and more.

  • Consistently have fun as a group by engaging members and therefore adding value to their membership.

Code of Conduct:

Ambassadors are expected to act in a professional, welcoming, and positive manner at all times. Ambassadors are also expected to follow the rules of the establishment where the Chamber is hosting a function. Any reports of non professional behavior will be directed to Ambassador Chair and Chamber Director. Any offenses will be documented and repeated (more than 2 in 1 year) offenses to this Code of Conduct may result in the Ambassador being asked to resign this role.

 Ambassador Meetings:

Ambassadors will meet monthly. Meetings are designed to provide networking and to educate Ambassadors regarding current Chamber events as well as to provide a forum for Ambassadors to discuss opportunities and challenges. Attending monthly meetings is essential to the success of the Ambassadors program and engagement of Chamber membership. The Chair will email a meeting reminder with location, date and time.

Chamber Luncheons and other events are to be enjoyed by everyone involved.  If you enjoy what you are doing, so will everyone around you.  Remember you ARE the Chamber of Commerce so your enthusiasm and professionalism reflect the Chamber at all times.
